Overview

Gene therapy (GT) and Cell Therapy (CT) has advanced significantly over the last 2 decades from cell culturing using roller bottle and flatware to single-use bioreactors. There were limited solution available at that time when scaling up to manufacturing scale of clinical grade Bio therapeutics. Single-use bioreactors (SUBs) have brought about a revolutionary change to GT and CT manufacturing. The SUBs are sterile, easy to adopt, have a significant footprint reduction and can reduce unit operation compared to traditional flatware. It is therefore very critical in “tailor fitting” a SUB to a GT and CT processes.

This webinar will help you understand how to move towards modern cell culture techniques that would help mitigate the challenges and limitations generally found in traditional flatware when scaling for commercial manufacturing.
